I have 3 extra colonies of Green Star Polyps that have branched or been fragged from my huge mother colony, and they deserve new homes. Please forgive the pics, I only have my iPhone to work with!

Located in Chattanooga, TN. Willing to meet locally, and also willing to ship via FedEx. Should run $35-$50 depending on zipcode. Please PM me!

1. This piece is super cool — the GSP has encrusted a tree-like branching Tonga rock that also has a 3” leather coral on it. The entire thing measures 6-7” in length and what little rock isn’t covered has coraline algae all over it.

$150

This is what the leather polyps look like:

2. This is a nice 5” free-standing colony. It was ticked off after I cleaned the glass but it is a very healthy, full piece.

$75

3. A very full, very thick 4” free-standing colony. Hard to tell but this one has multiple loops and flaps growing out.

$50

Those prices don’t seem too bad for what appears to be briareum sp (branching type). The large piece is neat with the leathers. Good luck with sale.

I highly doubt that this is the branching type. These are very high priced IMO.

I thought that they looked a little like my briareum sp. but may be mistaken. The prices seemed close to briareum I have seen for sale on online retailers. Different perspectives are useful for prospective buyers. I don’t see briareum or common GSP as a weed that is worthless, and a Larger GSP rock with a nice leather could fetch $100 elsewhere. Hopefully the seller and potential buyer can agree on a price that suits both. In a short time, I have found this forum to be filled with good people and info (there are always bad apples in a tree though). Sometimes a seller may think an item is worth a little more than it is, but we should make an effort to educate ourselves on comparables (both buyer and seller). I, personally, would not spend $100 on a GSP/leather rock but some would. Happy reefing all!
