i have to give much props to you i must say...literally JUS got a 30 breeder sittin empty right now. it was an amazin gift from an amazin friend. have a way-too-filled 12G JBJ nano cube right now, and am decidin on all the equipment ima need for the 30 breeder.

your first 30b setup shows me that i dont need to go crazy right now with tons of equipment to have a nice lookin tank. i still feel like i may need a 6-bulb fixture, and coming from a 150w HQI on the 12g, i kno my corals colors will look much much better. but because i want to be able to keep adding tons of acros and montis, i wanna jus have the 6 bulbs "in case."

either way, i wanna jus say great work on yours and congrads on switchin to a 40b so seamlessly it seems. keep up the good work.

Thanks a good 4 bulb will be plenty over a 30b for sps imo.I still only use 4 most of the time over the 40 and my sps does well.Would do better if was running a skimmer im sure lol.Oh and with just the 4 bulb i cooked a few lps corals that couldnt handle the light.Its alot over a 12 inch tall tank.

Ok i figure time for a bit of update on the tank im sick of looking at........... :( I Got rid of my one frogspawn cause it just wasnt happy with the flow anymore.It was very picky.The same day i got rid of it i found another nice one at midwest coral farm and seemed to be happy in a decent amount of flow there so figured would try another one.I also picked up a sweet scoly from there also.Oh i have mounted some of my acans on rock now and have to find another good piece to place rest of them on.
