the 32 is comparable to the xr 15, i do think if you want some savings the hydra is more than adequate. it is a very good light. the hydra 32 hd is 430 and the xr15 is 500 though
I bought mine 6 months ago, and they were $329, and the radions were $499.
That’s why I chose them.

A couple Quanta Pro Meso blues bars with a Kessil or two (or a SmatFarm G5 if you’re on a budget). I would do a couple bars and a LED cluster or two of your choice. I guess it depends if you’re going to have a hanging canopy or if you want a cleaner look? There are so many options out there.

What are the best options for lighting a 3ft tank? A lot of the lights on the market seem to be made for a 2ftx2ft area or a 2ftx4ft area, but I was wondering what lighting would fill the gap between these sizes. I would prefer to stay towards LEDs but I am interested in all the possibilities. Thanks
what did you get?

I had 2 G5 XR15's on my 36" frag tank. I wanted to do SPS and they did not put off enough part to grow the sps on the bottom. Tank is 12" high. So I replaced with 2 G5 XR30's. No issues there. Just FYI.

If you are doing lps only. 2 XR15's are fine.
