Thanks for the pic.
Like you, I ran halides,t5,s leds, now back to halides.

I definitely think that's a good choice. I do not regret trying out led but really happy to be back to halides.
Side note, looking at the Alk graphs I realized I was making a mistake dosing Kalk during the night. In reality I should have been dosing kalk during light period. The alk demand during photo period has given me some things to think about.

Okay finished testing alk.
all tests completed in last 10 minutes
Coralvue kh monitor 9.7dkh
red sea alk pro 7.6dkh
hanna colorimeter 8.0dkh
can the kh monitor be that far off? or are the other 2?

According to manufacturers manuals of each test kit:

Hanna Checker is +/-.3
Red Sea Alk is +/-.025
Kh Guardian is +/-.01

If everything is tested to exact specifications of each kit, then the kh guardian should be your most accurate. Interesting to see such a range between the test kits though.

Here would be one of my other lps sitting in low light. Actually lowest light in the tank 85ish Par.
One thing I learned is this one loves to kill coral. Killed 4 corals one of them was my amazing frog spawn.... 2 others where badly damaged and currently healing.

Here is my Duncan colony. Started from 1 bleached polyp I rescued from a lfs that closed down.
Apparently I need to remind it that it is not a bubble tip anemone.
Edit: I blast this with light. 280 par

Recent clam purchase.
Heading up into rocks shortly. Sitting at 220 par currently.
Seems to be suffering from crappy picture syndrome.

Think ill call it a picture night with this last one.
Another one of my montipora pieces.
I have to say I really wish this iPhone could take pictures. This coral in person is insane. One of my favorite saves. Picked this up from a fish store. Their colony bleached, so it was fragged up. I had to snag it and bring it back to life.
Sits at 230 par

Found this on the glass. An unknown creature.
Cant really tell but it has 2 rows of bright orange spots. Tried the best I could to capture a good picture.
Any ideas?

New halide pic 1.JPG

Added 3rd halide! Took advantage of some serious cheap prices at brs and marine depot.
Just adding the halide running at 3 hrs currently my daily dkh usage has increased quite a bit.

It looks like some type of worm or slug. I searched all over the internet and found nothing. Complete head scratcher for me. Ill see if I can find it again and pull it out of the tank. On its back though it had rows of vivid orange spots.
