Stinkproof my future ill go with A OCTO if i won(building my tank now)However to be honest im not sure what Skimmer ill be getting...however id buy a new skimmer for this.Maybe the Royal Bubble king double cone 180 could use a destink

I learned that the filtration is from coconut fibers. Plus they don't make one for my skimmer yet so I would have to request it.

@ReefEco - You know that you could make a minor modification to this and create a CO2 scubber..Think about it!!
Yes, we have considered this ; ) It would take a few modifications to make the vessel more airtight, mainly, as well as a solid lid with choice of fittings. I've been watching Co2 scrubbing for a while, and given the media's cost, effectiveness, and all the other cheaper ways to increase pH, I honestly don't know if it is going to be a long term reefing tool, or a fad that fades away? I guess for some folks with real pH problems it will continue to be a tool in the toolbox. Time will tell! I've approached a few people to test a design, but no takers yet...
