I'm taking a road off the beaten path. Haven't you read about the experiment where they're dosing tanks with ammonia and nitrite in small quantities to promote growth and coloration?

Nice!!!! I knew there would be a use for all those pennies I have been collecting in a jar! I might have to try that too. All the bacteria from the pennies being handled so much can only help right?

Have you considered putting a flux capacitor on your skimmer?
Just use the pennies as frag plugs and glue them to everything, totally bedazzled.
