I like b too it was kind of inspired by store bought led fixtures but I don't really know the practical aspects of it

I think option B is what I would use. Option A is what I tinkered aroung with myself at one point in designing my fixture, but the problem with it is, those clusters are more like spot lights. Option B will spread the light out more.

Thats what I thought about Option B as well, seems like it would have better coverage.

Its the post of the diagram after the photo you posted. Not the triangles. But more evenly spread out. The triangles are going to give you a spotlight look, which you don't want.

sent from chris using my unsmart phone

Good luck! Always a nail bitter when filled for the first time.

With the LEDs how are you attaching them to the heatsink?

Haha I can only speculate since I have never been to one in person lol.. But it can't smell great break fluid drain cleaner ect what ever else people decide to through in there, where I live in ky, they call it an epidemic, even at my job they made me take these classes on the combat methamphetamine act.. (I got a cool certificate from the state ) These individuals come into the pharmacy and ask for sudafed smelling like they just walked out of a chemical plant....

It was inevitable I found a small leak in the PVC joint the goes into the the elbow that screws into the bulk head , which stinks because that's the only piece I can't get at lows :( small leak only 1 or 2 drops per 4 hours but still ..

If it's only 1 or 2 drops per 4 hours it will probably stop by itself. Think about trying to set up a drip of that frequency. Any small piece of debris or algae will stop it up.

Well time for and update and a tour all leaks have been mended but I have had another annoying problem come up , the mag 7 I'm using to my return is really loud it's more vibrating that anything I tried the padding suggestion that didn't seem to help , so I'm calling on you guys and gals to chime in please help dont get me wrong I know this tank is nt going to run in extreme silence but still this is kinda ridiculous. But every thing else left to do on the list is build led fixture and then start work on the apex. Any advice is welcome critical or not. I am no in the area that I know nothing about . Btw that cadlights skimmer dead silent and already pulling some good gunk !
