40 breeder led

I am needing to get some lights for a 40 breeder. I thought about a 4 bulb t5 fixture but an led seems simpler. I looked at two noopsyche leds but was unsure. Anyone have a suggestion for light under/around 300?

Id get a marsaqua or viparspectra black box. Theyll grow anything you want for about 120-150

I have a viparspectra on my 75 but thought I would check and see what others had experienced. I like it but would prefer a light that has a mount instead of hanging. My ceiling is pretty tall and I have stuff above the tank on the wall.

Oh...I like my hipageros, but I wouldnt suggest them for a 40 breeder as you would need three and the would look kinda ugly

The noopsyches have good color but The Viparspectras are very hard to beat for the price. I’m pulled a Viparspectra off my 60 gal for two noopsyches and I was about to put the Viparspectra back on due to sand bed not getting enough light but I went with a diy 2 bulb T5 kit and it’s perfect. The Viparspectra will be going on my 40 breeder build. If you get noopsyches plan on putting T5s on as well.

hoe deep is your tank? I think 65 gallons are real deep but not 60. I am asking beacuse I have a 21 inch sand bed, I shouldnt have a problem with the noop reaching sandbed should I with 2 on a 36 bowfront? Do thy have good color pop and deep blues? Growth?

I would go with the viparspectra I use 3 of them on my 125 gallon tank and everything looks amazing and grows fantastic I’ve had them for just about 2 years no issues for the 40 breeder one might not be enough unless you get the 300watt with just one you might get a shadow on the sides
