do u guys think 50w LED light is enough for my 40g long tank? it will be mainly sps. i just think 100w would be overkill for this size tank. any opinion would be great.

Thanks,

it depends on how many watts each led is, which fixture you are going to use, how high above the tank the light will be, and how low you want to put the sps...provide more info.

looking at the Evolution LED Light 50w 3G , i will planning to place it few inches about the water line. but they will be hanging so they can be as high or as low as i need them to be.
