I like that the most. Wish you had a bigger taller piece for the left side. Right side looks great, I would take that center rock and stand it up to make the bridge a bit higher if at all possible. But looks good man

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. I'm still trying different scapes out. Taking a break until tomorrow. Start again with a fresh mind lol I will scroll through some build threads for some inspiration. Seems like an impossible task to get it perfect the first time.

Hopefully I get to work on the aquascape a little more today. Today I will be possibly using a hammer, chissel, and saw. I'm going to try to go with a little more minimalistic scape. I always liked a minimalistic scape more. Seems more peaceful. And I don't plan to stock a whole lot so it should work out, any opinions? I got to take my dog to the vet here in a few hours. I will start working on it when I get back.

Here is another scape. Don't mind the screw drivers lol they're acting as supports. Thoughts?

I haven't though that far yet. Those rocks are multiple pieces, I haven't glued them together yet. The screw drivers were there to hold the rocks together while I made adjustments and could stand back and take a look.

The light doesn't say what brand a fellow reefer told me to buy one. If you type in on eBay a 48" t5 light fixture it will pop up for 165. I'll let you know on Thursday when It if it seems to be good.

I will be glueing the rocks together tonight. Hopefully breaking down the tank tomorrow morning and setup as much as I can. I go back to work wednesday, so anything I don't get done tomorrow will have to be done in the evenings. I work 12 hours a day so I will only have a few hours a night to work on it.

Slow and steady haha no worries there. Don't want to mess this up my first go around, too badly of course. As soon as the tank starts cycling and is in autopilot mode for a bit, I will be starting to setup my qt system. My qt plan is 2 10g tanks for tank transfer method, 1 20g tank for fish observation after ttm, and 1 10g tank for coral and invert qt. I think I decided on 2 aquamana lights for my DT. I will also buy one for my coral qt. I'm still on the fence about quarantining my CUC. Thoughts? I'm still pondering my stock list. I don't want a big stock list, going with a low bioload of just a few fish. Any opinions on stock list? I enjoy firefish, gobies perhaps with a shrimp pair, gum drop coral Croucher lol I like a lot of fish but can't have them all. I still want the tank to appear active but without the big bioload. I'm still thinking on it but any opinions are appreciated.

I actually have a nothing but coral tank. All softies. Only fish I have is a blue damsel. About to start a 14 gallon biocube and ill probably go with a pistol shrimp, and a purple fire goby. A few other odds and ends but it will again be mainly coral. Oh and alot of coralline! Love that stuff. As far as what you can put in the tank and what all can go together, its fun to look all that up, plus it will tell you how to care for them and what level they are as far as care goes. So that way you will know what your up against. As far as qt, I dont really do it and thus far, all my corals are thriving and fragging themselves out. Not saying you shouldn't quarantine them of course.

thats my 3 gallon and these small tanks are apparently hard to take care of and (cross my fingers) everything is doing well. Nothing was put in qt. Have been in the tank for quite sometime now. About two months I would say. Tank cycled in like 4 days due to live rock.

By all means qt your fish and corals. Especially if you want to set all that up, im eventually going to set one up because I just built me a 30 gallon frag tank (still in the works) with a built in the back refugium (refugium completed) so im definitely going to be building a qt tank
