Hey All,

Im Casey and new to reef2reef. Im currently stationed at Dover AFB, in Delaware serving in the USAF. I look forward to meeting everyone here and happy to be a part of a new reef club and the cube club.

Heres my setup, hope you all enjoy and feel free to let the advice flow like the salmon of capastrano. (spelling, Sure someone here is a comedy movie buff)

I have a Custom 3 side starfire rimless 50 gl cube, 10gl sump
Maxpect LED
H&S 150-2000 protein in sump skimmer
quiet one 4000 return
Herbie style overflow
Vortech MP 10es
2 Tunze 6025
BRS GFO reactor
Running this system as a Barebottom reef. I use to have this setup with same and a little more rock before i deployed and the wife moved back to NC with family. Taking a different approach this round. Painted the bottom wife for the brighter cleaner look.

That about sums it up, hope you all enjoy.

Hey guys thanks for the kind words. Sorry for the late reply. Just noticed some red bugs on my acros, so going out to find me some interceptor today.
My dimensions of the tank are 24"x24"x18"

Just completed my first treatment for red bugs. I went the interceptor route and around the 4th hour i noticed no bugs. Just finished the water change and loaded up on carbon. Happy to see a few pods roaming the sump. Will repeat this treatment same time next week. So far so good.

Sure does. Feels good knowing i killed little bugs that were causing it to be stressed. Downfall is that i lost a chromis, could have been coincidence but who knows.
