Been running around 7 hours. Water still very cloudy but starting to clear.

Hopefully can see my rock desighn inside soon. The center rock was 70 pounds and insane to get inside. I had to use ropes ect.

I'll check salinity and visibility again in a few hours

That's the dream. 2 or3 sharks and one ray.

Finally have the room back in order. Had to rearrange couch and tv to accommodate new tank

In hindsite I wish I would have picked a differant location for the tank. I could have brainstormed a bit more to mix and match furniture positions with the tank.

But once the monster tank is in position..that's all she wrote folks. It cant be moved

The 180 gallon sump has 7 pounds of sea weed, 100 bio balls and 20 lbs of live rock.

This all came from the previous owners running setup.

The water is starting to clear and you can somewhat sea my rock desighn

Looks like the tanks 70% clear now. Likely completely clear by tomorrow morning.

Salinity is in the safe zone, but I'll buy more salt to get it a lil closer to 1.023

I'll be getting lights on tuesday.

A 5 footer for the top of tank and a refurgium (spelling) for the sump tank green curly seaweed/moss growth

I'm thinking just one 5 foot light will be sufficient since I've read sharks like it darkish. Opinions?

I think Bambi my the Bamboo shark will die tonight..

She was laying on her side.

No idea why but it seems newborn babies only have a 30% chance at making it.

Not eating being the main reason.

I have no expectations of her being alive tomorrow but fingers crossed

Hatchling bamboos often go a week or two before they start to feed. Laying on its side is a bad sign though.

Fingers crossed.

Thank you for the kind words.

She made it through the night and is doing better.

I'm in rout to the lfs to try differant food items.
Glad to see its showing signs of improvement. Try tiny pieces of diced up squid, thats what i usually start hatchlings out on.
