Hello! This will be my official build thread. Today, I went to my LFS Barrier reef aquariums (would highly recommend them if you are in Washington state) And bought pretty much all I need to start a reef tank:

Red Sea Reefer 300XL (65 gallons) with white stand
Skimmer
Lights
Powerheads
cleaning "wand"
dosers
Live sand
Dry rock with bacteria
and more

I am currently waiting 1 week for my order to be ready, and then I will add what i need and start cycling the tank! It should be fast, for i bought the Fritz Tyme cycle starter.

Once the tank is cycled, i will get used to using the equipment, and then bring home a pair of clownfish and another fish (idk which one yet) and put them in the tank.

Wish me luck!

picked up everything at my lfs but the lights and ro/di unit. Its a heavy tank, so it will take a while to bring it upstairs (the tank will be on the highest level), and we still need to build the stand, so i will have some picks of my aquascape in a few days. So exctied!
