Here is a build thread for a new setup i am working on. I decided to down size from a 250 gallon tenecor teneview as we are going to rip up the hardwood floors and stain the concrete slab.
tank - 36"x24"x18" ... starphire on 3 front panes, rimless, black silicone center overflow on back. Custom built tank from a local reefer.
flow - (2) tunze 6055, (2) tunze 6025 and one mp40w with bb but dialed all the way down.
lighting - ati sunpower 6 x 39
circulation - tunze 1073.040 for returns, tunze 1073.020 to feed chiller, uv and media reactors.
controller - apex for main controller.
dosing - profilux 2 with profilux 3 channel doser. (Ca, Alk, Mg)
skimmer - i-tech 100
I am very minimalist aquascaper with very low bioload. i am only going to keep. my purple tang, starry blenny and school of orange lined cardinalfish.
60% sps and 40% lps and zoas.
