What kind of tank is that? Fluval? Seeing all these awesome nano tanks makes me want just a bunch of them instead of a big tank lol
LOL $60?? that's awesome...what did you do for the filter area? Doesn't look like you kept the one it came with...I also have an AI Prime on my own nano currently...love it!60 bucks at deathco, great little tank. Little tanks are great cuz they're easy to fill [emoji6]. Excited to see it grow out
That's unfortunate, I'm having to use 2 rotating deflectors to tobranfomize the flow at the moment. Would have been nice to just have the 1 mp10 instead of all these pumpsMp10 lets you control down to like 5% or something idr the exact % but a few yrs ago I remember thinking it was a pain to disperse the flow without disturbing something
I wish ecotech would release something half as strong.. could be the Nano/pico pump
Haven't heard of cheato filter lol, I'll have to look that one up!20 lbs of sand 8lbs LR large clean up crew, live rock rubble and cheato in the back compartment with an led on it 24/7 and weekly water changes that's it. Had a bag of carbon in there at first when it was cycling.
Lol it's like having a mini half gallon sump back there, I allow algae, macro algae, pods, ect to thrive back there and they help keep the water clean. Between that and the 28lbs of sand and rock it does pretty good. I wouldn't have had to water change this week if I didn't need the trace elements. Only thing I do different on my larger tanks is a skimmer.Haven't heard of cheato filter lol, I'll have to look that one up!
Well it's a really nice nano! I would Def want to do something similar, maybe after I move lol thanks for the infoLol it's like having a mini half gallon sump back there, I allow algae, macro algae, pods, ect to thrive back there and they help keep the water clean. Nice tankHello first timer here. I have kept various reefs before but never shared really. Started this tank to get back in the hobby. Tank was cycled for 3 weeks before adding coral so it's about 4 weeks old now still a baby we'll see where it goes. Just a few easy corals to start and a random sps to test this light. All chemical filtration has been removed from the back and replaced with cheato and a filter sponge. The small powerhead on the left will be replaced with a jebao 4 this week so that will be nice.you can see the light shining through the overflow that lights the cheato, need a smaller led strip this one is too strong
