6g pico reef

Love your little pico! I'm starting a 5g pico as well, this week! Same as you, I'm getting back into the hobby with my little pico after a 2 year break. I previously had a 29g. [emoji170][emoji225]

Oh wow! That's a stunning video! Can't wait to see the pico, always my favorite tanks to view because it's so personal. Welcome back to the hobby [emoji16]

5 mangroves ordered and on the way and I can't say I've been more excited for anything I've got for this tank. I cannot stand looking at those pumps anymore lol. Such a small tank they really do catch your your eye

Can't wait to see what you do with it I love pico's [emoji16]
Its my first pico but I'm excited because with the 29g, no matter how many corals I bought, it still looked empty! With the 5g I'm going to finally be able to FILL IT with corals! [emoji23] [emoji170][emoji225]

Funny, I thought the same thing yet can't seem to stop buying more lol it's a sickness [emoji28]

Thank you! This tank is great tons of room in the back too. Loving the prime as well
I thought the rear column had a nice bit of space. Do you think you could fit a Maxi jet pump back there? You could drill a couple of holes in the back portion(one for intake, one for outlet) and have a mini closed loop. Then you wouldn't see any pump in the display.

I thought about drilling it initially and having a tiny fuge at first but decided against it. The plan is to place mangroves in the back

then the pumps will be placed on the overflow box and hidden with them. My flow is great just eyesore pumps

Gotcha. That'll be sweet too. I really want to do a mangrove tray but I don't have the patience to wait for the propagules to grow into something that at least resembles a tree haha

strange to me that the clam is allowing this. Hopefully he doesn't pick at it I know how they can be
