I need help with lighting options. We have a 72 gal bow front that we want to upgrade the lighting to leds on. Our issue is we cannot hang lights. We have to keep the hood closed because of the cats. There is only a 7 in gap between the top of the hood and the cross member. Any suggestions on what would work best. Cheaper is better but never the case. ..lol

2 reefbreeder value fixtures should work good. Can you cut rectangles in the top of the hood the size of the fixtures to access the dials on the light?

The fixtures have 4 eyelets. you could try to fasten some type of hook to the top of the hood to hold them maybe.

Its not wood so I wouldnt feel comfortable with doing that. Also I cant really attach them to the hood because I need to remove the access panels to feed and the hood to clean.
