Ok. I unfortunately lost both of the Purple Haze Tenuis but the Split Decision and the Hydrogen Bomb are doing ok. I moved them to a higher position with more flow and light and the Hydrogen Bomb definitely seemed happier today than yesterday.

Also, I dosed ReefFlux about a month ago and it took care of a HUGE algae problem I had going on. Did my first water change last week and the algae is coming back. No more Reef Roids for a while.

Picked up a Fighting Conch and tow margarita snails today as well.

So I came home from work today and looked in the tank. I picked up a Fighting Conch the other day because I hadn't seen mine in a couple of weeks. Well, now there are two fighting conches staring at each other in my tank.

In other news, I'm slowly bringing my Alk up. Everything looks .much happier today after raising it a little yesterday. Going to bring it up a little more today.

So I almost bought a sump for the 125 today! Unfortunately it was 1" too wide or 8" too long, so I didn't get it.

For the 75, the Hydrogen Bomb is still doing OK, but the Split Decision hasn't had any polyps showing for a couple of days. Everything else seems happy. Even the Gonis are opening and having good PE.

My SBB Mojave Desert looks like it's going to bounce!

I moved the Hydrogen Bomb into an area with higher flow and lots of light and I think it's happy? At least twice as much PE as yesterday had!

So the Hydrogen Bomb is looking pretty good today. It has colored up and has decent PE today. Still a long road ahead but moving into higher flow seems to have been what it needed. I wish I had realized it earlier - maybe my other acros would have survived.

I'm ordering my new powerhead so hopefully it'll arrive soon.

In other news, I won $150 to West Coast Corals so I'll probably be placing an order in the Livesale tomorrow.

West Coast Corals had a sale today so I jumped on and spent that gift card that was burning a hole in my PM box.

I already have a Reverse Prism Favia but this one looks different so we'll see.
My first Blasto - super excited!
Another Acan/Lord - I loved the colors on it.
And a TSA Fruity Pebbles. The Hydrogen Bomb is doing ok, so I'm hoping the Fruity Pebbles will as well!

The shipment should be getting shipped tomorrow for Tuesday delivery. The new powerhead should be here tomorrow.

In the meantime, the SBB Hydrogen Bomb has changed colors significantly. It's more pink than blue and the polyps don't extend much. But it's always got feeder tentacles so I'm guessing it's happy?

Well, the shipment from West Coast Corals came this morning. He called and let me know they were out of the Fruity Pebbles and he's not sure why it was on the website so he swapped it out. I told him to take his pick as I was good with anything. He threw in a 4 head Christmas Acan and a Bullseye Rhodactis to replace a single nub frag of Fruity Pebbles!!!!

So I really had to exercise some restraint. SBB was having a sale this weekend and they had a TON of their Gonis that I don't have yet for very inexpensive. My daughter has an archery tournament out of town in a couple of weeks and the 125 still isn't set up or I would have been in it for sure. There was in particular I was looking for, and someone else bought it. It was $5! If I had been there when that dropped I would have been in the sale.

In other news, I did start tearing down one of the tanks that's currently sitting where the 125 is going to go. 2 more to go.

New corals came in on Tuesday along with a positive test result for COVID. They're all settling in well.

Then I moved the Fading Star Alveopora oer with the Ultra Alveopora
IMG_20220422_102004765~2.jpg

That rock has two more spots for Alveopora but these two pretty much dominated it so it think it's full up!

In other news, I won a Nitrate Checker from Riptide and it came in yesterday. Tested my Nitrates today and the Hanna says I'm at 39.4 while my old tests say I'm at barely detectable??? I'm going to have to verify that.

I feel like i missed out on a lot here. You keep winning left and right!
Congrats
I do! I'm hoping to win the Corals.com Corals in Bloom too... My wife would be a little upset but I'd be happy.

I moved my hammer onto the rockscape and rearranged the frag racks a little. I think I have room for 2 Alveopora, 2 Gonis, 2 Acan Lords/Micros or 2 Blastos, and maybe 2 more Rhodactis... I could do another Favia or two but I'm full up on montis. Maybe if I really felt it I could add an acro or two but my Hydrogen Bomb is still struggling so I'd rather not at this point.
