75 gallon reef tank

So since my wife is mad and is "forcing" me to get a bigger tank, my supervisor is offering to give me a 135 gallon shallow tank 60"*30"*18" tall.

Talk about being punished! Someone gets coal for being bad... You get a bigger tank.
Now you gotta figure out what you need to do about lights! Gl with np win. :)

Well, for right now I have an old black box with burned out whites, the 90 watt Pro II, the 75 watt V3, and a Nicrew 50 watt. I also have a 75 watt strip LED over my 10 and 20 that I'll have to tear down to make room for the 135. I have a 250 watt metal halide in the garage as well. Lights are easy enough I guess. I'd love to grab a couple of the 140s though.

Yep. Tank, stand, chiller, sump. Everything but the lights and skimmer (I have 3 skimmers in the garage).

Just logged into Top Shelf to get some pictures of previous orders - trying to document what I got and where it came from - and there were 2 freebies for the taking. We'll see if they let me keep them.

So the planning begins! We're currently trying to figure out where it's going to go, so it's pretty much a for sure thing. Next project after this: cleaning the garage and setting up a farm! Frags, rabbits, and quail.

Oh boy... I just checked and I have 27 frags coming over the next two weeks.

With the 4 frags from Galactic Corals and the 27 coming from Cherry, SBB, and TSA I've purchased 31 corals this month alone. I think prior to that I had 12 corals total in my tank plus 4 in my 5.... I wonder why my wife is upset.

Got some corals from SBB coming tomorrow. I built a couple of frag racks this morning. Also added a firefish today.

Got some cool color change going on in the 5 gallon. Thinking of fragging this little branch but I might just let it grow and see if more branches change as well.b if it goes down into the trunk, that'd be nice!

Looking for a tang today I decided to call Petco. The one I called said they weren't getting any deliveries in until the middle of next month because they're getting ready to remodel. All Aquatic livestock is 50% off right now.

Decided to add a couple of little dudes. Also grabbed some margarita snails, astrea, ceriths, and a couple of hermits. $32 out the door for a decent cuc addition and two bangaiis.

I just realized I didn't post the corals that showed up on Tuesday.

Turbo snail knocked off one of my digi frags, then a hermit crab climbed on top of him and my war paint goby decided to perch on the hermit crab!
