90G DIY light set-up

hi guys I was just looking for opinions on this blue print I made for my DIY lighting. I decided I decided i was going with metal halide cause the family loves the shimmer effect and 2 T5HO 54W. Im looking to keep a mixed reef enviroment with clams also need some tips on bulb selection. My cousin said that my print overkills on the lighting :beat_shot: all the products come from hello lights.com, for those wondering the cost output it was all under 400 bucks :wink:

Looks like it will work well. For bulbs, I like the Phoenix 14K bulbs.

Ahay guys does anyone know where I could buy retrofit lighting parts it seems hello lights will not ship to Canada. any places of than marine Depot

the only thing about these reflectors is they create hotspots. if your going metal halide. go metal halide and get two quality reflectors ( luminarc 3 or what not ) if your going to do t5 do t5 and use 6 or 7 of them.. making a hybrid system is going to shoot you in the foot later.
