I used to have one and got rid of it. Seemed great at first, but the finish isn't as good as a roller. Too much splatter and droplets, not to mention over spray. Perfect for a more dimly lit area or a retail space, not so great for a brightly lit kitchen or family room.

You are going to open the store next week without water? o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

I agree about the sprayer. I am only going to use it in the holding area and on the exposed brick. Everything else will get rolled including the floor.

I wish it would be open. LOL! 14 weeks and counting...

Bench top drill press and power miter box stand are out for delivery!

My 15 year old bench top had the chuck go bad and a replacement would have been almost as much as a new one. :( But, I had a credit and a new one was on sale so I snatched it up.

I have needed a miter box stand for a while. I had built my own and it lasted about 8 years but it was heavy. New one was under $100 so well worth not building a new one. :)

So a part to the stand for the saw is broken. :(

They did a horrible taping/packing job and the box was open upon delivery.

It's usable for now but that handle won't hold up. I have emailed the company and asked for a replacement part.

I DO NOT want to ship the whole thing back.

Oh well, everything else was in great shape.

Update. They already responded and have ordered the replacement part. Less than an hour. Now THAT is customer service! @tdlawdo someone you have dealt with could take a lesson from directtoolsoutlet.com

We got quite a bit done today. The specimen wall on the freshwater side is almost entirely framed but we ran out of batteries and screws. We will easily finish it tomorrow.

We need to put the shelves in for the small tanks to sit on. Also we need to move the 55s over to the wall 6".

Sherry and Sue Ann did a great job cleaning.

We also finished framing the freshwater side of the store. We will frame up the shelves for the small specimen tanks this week and get them installed so we can paint and put up wall board on it.

We also added spots to put two side viewable 20H aquariums on the corner of the wall these will be for inverts.

A few more filler pieces will be added as well.

I love the ceiling! Did you get the extension pole for your fan?

Not yet. We are thinking about removing them all together because the tanks now going directly under them. It'll make it hard to suspend the lighting from the ceiling.

One thing I see missed in the stores here is the little guys. Are you planning any DTs with the little delicate critters? Such a missed market imo. A lot more people would come to the dark side of they could see what a Biocube can do.

Actually, yes! I am planning a sea horse tank for sure and a Mantis tank.

I also want to do a small low tech planted with nothing but shrimp.
