A8SE ll Programming help

Recently received an A8SE Max light and can’t get it to run a preset schedule. I have uninstalled light/app, and reset the light multiple times. I have read through existing threads on the light but still can’t figure this out.

The light will turn on manually but just won’t run any of the preset programs or custom programs.

Any one familiar with light who can offer any suggestions? Thanks.

Yes, I press the save device button. I thought maybe it had something to do with time I was selecting. But I am in NJ and double checked it should be UTC +4.
I have tried moving the preset start time around to see if that made a difference but it hasn’t. Just doesn’t make sense.

I went through the updated guide and still can’t get a preset program to run. I can get the lamp to run manually and even in the presets I can move the sliders to adjust time points and the lamp lights. But it won’t run the preset when I edit the program.
That makes me think it isn’t hardware related but maybe I am missing something or doing something wrong.

My steps in the app and in the settings for my light.
1. Time correction message pops up and I confirm yes and it corrects time is off. I hit “Save Device”.
2. I select a preset and hit “Save Device” again.
3. Close the program by swiping out of program.
4. The light doesn’t respond even if in the middle of the selected preset time.

So, for anyone familiar with program, am I missing a step??

Have you set the time zone by going into the device, tapping the top right menu button, then TimeZoneSet? If the time zone is not set correctly it will switch back and forth between the incorrect time zone and your phone's correct time every time you open and close the app.

Hmm, that's strange. Once my app time zone is set to match my phone, the app asks me to update time once, I save to device, and then it doesn't ask anymore when opening the app because my phone's time matches the app/light.

Hmm, that's strange. Once my app time zone is set to match my phone, the app asks me to update time once, I save to device, and then it doesn't ask anymore when opening the app because my phone's time matches the app/light.

Maybe I am doing something wrong then with the time zone. I will start from scratch tomorrow and pay extra attention to the time zone steps. Maybe I missed something. Will update.

To close this thread out, I just wanted to say I got the issue resolved. It was the time zone that I was setting up wrong. Totally user error. All good now.
