I would have thought continues automatic water change. It should only require about 5 gallons per day. A perfect use for a Neptune DOS set.
Thanks for the input

Tanks come a long way ! I can personally say it is bigger in person , these pictures just don’t do it justice .
Final update till water goes in!
Added egg crate to the sump instead of trex panels.
Laid 6” of rock on the egg crate. The egg crate sits 3.5” off the bottom.
Mounted a maxspect gyre 250 for flow above and below the rock.
Finished the aquascape...you never really finish aquascaping. Also added the final pond armor coat. I painted the return line and patch/coated anything I thought might need extra protection.
The pix just don’t do justice. The middle rock on top is about 2.5 feet by 1.5feet and weights roughly 40 pounds.
Wired up the extension cables for the front 4 MP40WQDs. Thank you stsmods for the fantastic product and work.
Juggled this mess is to a cleaner mess. Call me crazy or whatever but I’m just not a fan of the false walls/panels.
Also Put a gyre 250 in the middle back of the tank for extra flow.
Lights are up
And my two girls anxiously waiting to pick out fish. If all goes well I’ll have water in it next week.
That looks really nice, I’m sure you’re ready to see water in it now.
Sick build , you have some serious skills! Just curious what kind of fish are you looking at? I know the sky is the limit with tank like yours !
Thanks.
I’m looking at typical reef safe fish but hoping I can keep the “harder to keep” fish too. Like Achilles, chevron maybe moorish idol.
Always loved the Achilles. Can’t wait to see your choices and fish swimming
