Reefers!

I have been searching to find more information about the ac infinity peristaltic pump. I found one post in our forum and one post insta post from Bay Area reef. By chance anyone else using it? I can’t deal with the noise from the dos, so I moved my versas over and they can’t really handle the 3 gallon daily rate for AWC. They go off sync or they give me an error…..they’re a mess. But for dosing: amazing.

Amazon has them slightly on sale at 95 bucks. Any input will be appreciated. Plan on using two for AWC, to change about 3 gallons daily.

Why not look into a kamoer X2SR its a AWC and auto top off unit i have it on my 360 and do 10 gallon weekly warer change for my 10% monthly. It takes about 48 minutes to do 10 gallons has a little noise but not that bad. It has an app that you can set schedules in to run automatically and it comes with 4 float switches and some tubing. I haveine pulling fresh saltwater from my mixing station thats 13 feet away drawing up to the ceiling ovet to tank and down under stand through unit amd into sump, and the discharge coming out of sump through the unit and down the emergency overflow drain in bottom of sump which goes down my sewer drain

I remember seeing that pump, I don’t think is sold anymore, at least in the US. I have a similar situation, the fill bin pump has to cover about 18-20 ft or so distance. The drain has to cover about 35ft or so, up and down the attic to the washroom.

I wish ac infinity would expand to reef aquarium industry. Their products have good prices and make growing herb easy. I have no direct knowledge of the pump itself. I imagine it’s hard to program without one of their controllers. The rest of the products are difficult without them.

I went ahead and purchased the pumps. I have not finished installing them at the final location but so far: amazing pumps. They can really push water and look solid in comparison to my Versa. I was able to get an additional 8% from amazon for waiting a week for delivery.

Sound: very quiet.
I tested the pump which will add water to the tank and in 1 min at level 3 it pumped 60ml. There is about 18-20ft of RODI line.
The second pump, which always gave me issues with the dos and Versa, pulling water from the tank. This one has to travel about 30-35ft. In the same min, 60ml have been pulled. Again, surprised. I ran the test twice.

I setup my apex to turn on the outlets on and off 6 times a day for my 3 gallon AWC. It will for 30 mins each time. I also setup feed b to do spot awc.

The only negative is my setup, I have no actual way of knowing if the pumps are turning on and off. I use an EB8 in that area, so I can’t power track. I may purchase a AC infinity 69 pro to give me the tracking, programming, and ability to be notified if something fails. But very solid pumps and support is great. I called them and even though corals is not that they aim to grow. They helped in the which controller to pick.

Than you for posting the review. I am looking to add another dosing pump or two. Will look into this setup! What kind of connections come with the pump? I am trying to figure out what connectors I may need to buy into order to connect the pump to RO line.

In case some else needs the same information. These are the two connections I used, the silicone tubing comes with the pump and the Rodi tubing I purchased from BRS.
