It comes out every night.,

Hard to make it out in the photo. Any photo with a flash used? If it is a vermatid you will need to crush it at the base or superglue the tube if that is not possible.

This is a spinoid worm and uses its palps to capture food and draw it into the tube. You can break off at base and discard as it steals food from corals

I tried to grab it with some tweezers, it retreated very quickly, so I've now put a little drop of super glue on top..

That'll work. It will starve and die off
