The first one is what they call base rock because it does not have quite as much coralline algae sponges and Macroalgae and is put down first so it cheaper. The second one is what they call deco rock or ‘cherry’ pieces since they have more coralline sponges and Macroalgae so more money and is placed on top of the base rock As showpieces so to say. Since the tank is only ten gallons and you have to choose between the two go with the deco rock for 29.00 more. Money well spent.
