Evening all, I’m looking for assistance in identifying this nub of an acro I picked up from a friend. I know such a small piece won’t let us nail the ID but any ideas would be a helpful start. It’s always extremely shaggy and it took considerable harassing to get the polyps this far retracted. Honestly I had no idea the tissue was so colorful since the purple polyps are always out.

I have a PC rainbow a few inches away from this frag and to me, color aside, they look pretty different. I don’t have a ton of experience, but to your point, the polyps don’t really look similar to my millepora and spathulata polyps.

Here’s an image from the this morning. Lighting is still on the blue side but nowhere near as blue as the images from last night.
