Acropora dips and shipping

I've been in the hobby for nearly 5 years, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone ask this question. I know that corals do better after fragging when you use an iodine based dip afterwards, but what about after having them shipped? I've received several corals in the past that looked very stressed out from shipping, but I never considered whether or not there's a dip for that too. Does iodine work for this as well? Or are there any dips that you'd recommend? What about an amino acid dip?

It would be the same fragging dip or one for hitchhikers too they don’t sell anything branded/labeled for after shipping because it’s all the same.

The purpose of amino acids is nutritive. Dipping a stressed coral in amino acids probably won’t do anything beneficial and may spur bacterial issues if they feed off the amino acids. I also wouldn’t recommend iodine as a dip as it can be toxic to the coral, unless the coral looks like it is in dire straits. Honestly, a 5 minute potassium chloride dip (10 g/L) then directly into tank water in moderate-to-high flow has been very successful for me with all but the most worst off corals.
