Aqua stick. JMO

Some will drill and peg, but unless your defying gravity that can be overkill. If you do want to defy gravity, plastic clothes hangers can be cut and used.

I suggest using a flashlight to see how light will fall on your scape.

Yeah. It's a two part epoxy, that comes in a stick. Aquatic Marine has it.

Need some advice. Just started my skimmer today too check functionality. Why is it over flowing?

IMG_0945.JPG

Every skimmer has a break in period due to new plastic. Sometimes you can run it in a bucket with vinegar and it will cut down on the break in period.

Also make sure the water level is at the right height for that manufacturer instructions.

Water level is right. I'm guessing just let it run? This is my first experience with a skimmer

Let that bad boy overflow to is hearts content. Tying to adjust it during the break in will drive you nuts.

Also if your cycling, running your skimmer may prolong the cycle, my .02.

Now your ahead of me! Time to pay catchup.

I am not planning on running it until after the cycle is complete. I was just doing a test run and it surprised me!

All total, how long has it run?
It can take days to break in.
