Hello everbody, i am thinking about adding 3 wrasses at once to prevent agression with my female melanurus, that make sense? The wrasses would be yellow coris, flasher wrasse and red coris.
My melanurus dont show agression to other fishs, she is in tank for about a year now

Sounds good to me ! I added two yellow coris to a melanarus male that was in the tank for about a year . Now it’s as if they were family . That and a yellow eyed kole tang with is the dominant.

Is this a fowler? The red coris can get pretty large and could potentially wreak havoc on a reef as an adult. The yellow is not a coris and will be fine. @OrchidMiss

Mine is in a predator reef and he's a rock mover/flipper. Red is about 2 years old or so now, he's a good 6-7" in length and will move anything up to about the size of a tennis ball, hunting and looking for pods. He's a stunning fish, but will knock out as many snails as he can flip.
The flasher wrasse may also depend on which variety you want. I believe some are more tolerant of aggression.

How big is your tank? I agree with several previous. Red Coris is actually a Coris that get to over 14 inches in length. Not reef safe but more fit for a large predator tank.

Yeah, mixing a flasher and a Coris does not work

i think you are right, i just introduced a carpenter, exquisite and a blue side wrasse, the melanurus is going after the carpenter and the blue side, but dont care about the exquisite, they are in the tank for 2 days, what should i do? my tank is about 132 gallons

Do you have an acclimation box. You could try imprisoning the Mel. Or the bullied

yes i do, is there an easy way to catch the melanurus? i was thinking about ordering a trap online and let the tank light of for about a day until its delivered, that makes sense?
