I have a Red Sea Max E170 AIO, and I was wondering where/how I would add a refugium to this tank? I'm hoping to help my corals with it. Thanks in advance!

Youd have to look into a hang on back i think. some folks will put chato or calurpa in one of the chambers and light it through the back, like on JBJ cubes, but it has a tendency to collect gunk. Sorry I dont know the layout of your tank.
I use one of these and an air pump or small 12v dc pump on my non sumped tanks.

If you want to get way outta the box. google Chato reactor.

I was wondering the same thing for a Red Sea Reefer 350. If one would partition part of the sump how does a refugium work? Does the water come over the top and need an exit or what? Any help for a really easy
d.i.y. would be greatly appreciated.
