My tank is 5 months old. I added Reef Roids for the very first time because I purchased a Flame Scallop on Saturday and needed to add phyto/zoo plankton to the diet in the tank. 2 days later, these tiny little calcium shells started to attach to the back glass on my tank and a handful of the "bigger" (but still small) ones have released a filter-feeder fishing line. I've had a few people tell me that they are harmless and 'maybe' some kind of benign tiny feather duster worm. No one has told me for sure what they are. I would appreciate if anyone can give me an identification of what this sudden crop up is. And, since I'm anal retentive, how to remove my new un-welcome friends. I bought several bumblee-snails today and stuck them to the back glass. I'm hoping they will eat these thing.
