Adding clownfish

I have a pair of clownfish in my tank that are different species. But they get along great and have been together for about half a year. ( 30 gallon tank btw ). Would it be ok to add another clownfish or another pair?

I'll let someone who knows more about clown answer. I had a male and female Ocellaris from when they were small. When they got larger, the female was mean to the male. Got rid of the female. Then the male started chasing my firefish. Got rid of the male.

I would say no way in that small of tank most likely one or more will end up dead. It iffy in a large tank.

Just a friendly reminder.
I'm not sure if you know, and if you do my apologies, but getting rid of the female just gives room for the male to sex change and take her place. That's how they operate biologically. The females are dominant and will keep the males and other fish in check. I had one do the same years ago after the female abandoned ship.

A 3rd clownfish in a tank your size is a bad idea, and your tank is way too small for a second pair.

I’m curious for an answer if two different species will tolerate each other long term.
What two species of clowns do you have?

I also would not recommend adding another clown. Something else, but not another clown. I have a huge tank compared to yours, and while I've been told I could add another pair I'm a little suspect of that.
