Adding Lights? VHO?

Ok so I have a 28 Gallon EcoSystem Mini AIO tank. I have a Current Sunpod with a 150W 14K MH with the stock 6 blue LEDs and 6 white LEDs. I am thinking about doing a little DIY and adding either one or two actinics or and actinic and a white. I want to do this for the effect of sunrise and sunset. I do have a VHO ballest just sitting under the stand with endcaps and everything. It is rated for two bulbs at up to 110 watts each. What would happen if I put a smaller bulb then 110 watts? Also if I added the lights should I keep them on when the MH is on or have them shut off?

Any idea what kind of ballast it is?? It should be fine but there are a few odd ball ballast that might not.. Check for a online manual if you can it should show all the different combos you can run..if it's ice cap or workhorse your fine..

It is an ARO Ballast Model AS-220.

I just bought a ARO 220 ballast kit and use it to power 2-24" VHO 454 actinic bulbs on my zoanthid tank.
The color is awesome.
