It looks a little crammed up though I have no experience with this setup. Maybe someone that has the equipment can give a better perspective.

If you don't mind me asking what are you trying to achieve by adding the refugium?

I eventually converted my ATO tank area to be my fuge, but I have my ATO hooked into a larger tank, so had that ability.

One thing I considered before that was to get a Kritter Keeper and use that; adding some chaeto in and putting it in the main sump area. I'm not sure how the flow would be through it (drill holes in the sides to increase it?) and I didn't have a good plan for light aside from just bathing the entire sump area with a grow light... So might not be ideal, but perhaps something in the idea might help you find a solution?

Yea I seen a lot of people converted there ato but I really like having that lol my idea was to pick up one of these is 4.5 inches wide I have about 4.75 inch gap to the left of sump but it's made to hang on side of tank not sump didn't know if that would cause any problems

I'd think it would work, in concept (a sump is just a tank with a bunch of fiddley-bits inside instead of fish/coral). The biggest concern I'd have was that the water level in the sump is (or should be) well below what a normal water level in a tank would be. But if you're putting a small pump in the sump to push water up into the HOB fuge, then this likely isn't much of a concern in the end; you'll just need to extend the inlet and outlet lines to account for the lower water level.
