Adding sand to a new tank

So I have a 75 gallon and we need to start getting sand in it. I have some sand from my sump and Should I bring it over with the water or just leave it in the sump?

I would leave It in the sump. Add new sand to the dt.

Stirring up your LS can lead to badddd nitrate outbreak, go with new and don't even touch your old one!
