I currently have a 48x24x22 tank with 4 XR15 Gen 5 Blues. Have ordered a 72x30x22 peninsula coming in December. Planning on adding 2 more xr15s. My question is being 30" wide should I run 3 pairs of 2 vertically, 6 in center spaced out, stagger the 6 slightly off center, or something else.
Thanks

Well, I would probably run an XR30 vertically on either end of the tank and the four XR15s that you have currently in the center. Something like this.

Reason I'm thinking 6 total is because I have friends with same size tank and get 400 par most of tank 2/3rds up with 3 xr30s.

I have a 72” x 25.6” tank with a pair of XR30s mounted horizontally on either end and a single XR15 in the center. So you could probably run three pairs of XR15s mounted vertically.
