Advice on a frag tank skimmer

My situation does not allow me to plumb a frag tank into my current system, but I am going to be able to set up a seperate frag system in the spare bedroom.(Thanks Dear) I am going with a 20 long tank and a 20 or so sump. I will be running a bare bottom frag tank with live rock and protien skimmer in the sump.
So now the part I need advice on I would like a small but good protein skimmer for this purpose any recommendations.

It really depends on what you plan on keeping in your system.
If it's SPS's then you'll need a mediocre skimmer that is rated at 100-200g.
You can adjust it, by putting a gate/ball valve.

If it's softies and lps, I wouldn't recommend a skimmer as a biweekly water change is more than adequate.

If you plan to have a low bioload and only keep frags in there, then I don't think you need anything crazy or over the top.

If in sump I would look at an I tech 100 with tunze pump
