I have been looking but can't seem to find an affordable led light that I can control with my apex controller. Does anyone know of a good light that won't cost am am and a leg? Thank you!

The term affordable is subjective to the individual. What do you consider affordable?

True, ideally I'm looking to spend between 200-300. I know that's tough but no losss in looking

I currently have a current USA led light but it doesn't seem to be enough and I want something I can control with the apex

I think your best bet is to just save up for the best light that will help you achieve the success you are looking for.

When you go for cheap...your going to get cheap, witch can fail early and then your back to buying another light again.

I'd save up.....but that's just me.

I use RapidLED Onyx and have been happy with them. I had a few minor issues with the cables but their customer service is second to none and they immediately addressed the issues.

In this hobby you more often than not get what you pay for.

Lighting, Skimming, Live Rock and Flow should not be shorted.

Two fixtures over a 90 that are controllable with an Apex will cost a minimum of $400. Keep saving.

i run eBay leds they were about $170 each. full spectrum . you would probably need at least 2 im very happy with them my sps grows like crazy i have them mounted about 8-10 in off water. these things are bright. this is my second time buying them first time i bought them they only came in blue and white. then they came out with full spectrum models so i upgraded. if your on a budget i highly recommend them.i have the blues on one channel and the full spectrum on another channel that are controlled individually. blues come on before white then at night blues stay on after whites for a little.the second pic shows them over my frag tank also.
