Has anyone experienced a fish become aggressive then go back to being docile again? The reason I ask is recently my Falco Hawkfish has started chasing my Rainford Goby (seen him do it) and maybe the Firefish. The Firefish has always been skittish so it's not out of the ordinary for him to hide. Both fish come out an hour or two before feeding and stay out for a bit after, but other than that they mostly hide. It's not overly aggressive that he's targeting the fish and nipping and biting, but just a short chase if he's near.
This only started happening a few weeks ago. Don't mind the Firefish hiding because he's my first fish and through the years he would go into hiding with a new addition to the tank or any changes so I've come accustomed to it. The Rainford would be out and about sifting the sand all day but now stays close to his cave. I have a trap ready to go for the Falco if it gets worse, but since both fish are eating and don't look beat up I'm hoping the Falco will snap out of it and subside with the chasing.
