Hello,
I decided to join this forum as I am throwing the idea around about setting up a new system and getting back more involved with the hobby again, and another forum I used to frequent has been rather inactive. After lurking here I have found some very interesting topics and a wealth of knowledge on current trends in the hobby.
My first experience with the hobby began on Christmas morning 1998, opening my first "all in one" nano my father, an accomplished aquarist himself, had given me, and the obsession started. In highschool and college I worked in several LFS and ran a maintenance gig on the side. I had many systems through the years, successes and failures, while many hobbies have come and gone out of my interest, reefkeeping will always be there.
It's one of the only hobbies, that you can learn something new every day!
Look forward to meeting all of you as well as catching up with a few of the SN I recognize from the past.
