So from my understanding, when you create your schedule, you create a 24 hour schedule. And when you turn on lunar mode you set the times you want lunar to take over. So for example you have your lights ramp up at 10am and stay on till 10pm you then have your blues set to a low intensity from 10pm to 8am ( or whatever time you want) and set lunar for 10pm to 8 am, the program will then automatically dim your nighttime settings to the appropriate lunar phase. Kind of confusing but I hope this makes sense lol

I have the hydra 26's and after trial and error and watching the videos like the one above I've found that setting your lights normal for daytime and then taking one or all the colors provided you set them to 5%. As the phases of the moon go your lights will adjust down from 0 to 5% to simulate new moon to full moon.
So, some nights it will be kinda bright and then on some you'll notice they are not on at all. They only dim 5% from what I can recall.
I just have my one royal blue on at 5% during the moon phase time and it seems to work well for me. But the color is a preference and, from what I've read, the closets to the moon color in the ocean.

I agree with the above descriptions. I have the 26s too and have my blues set to 3% and love how they follow phases of the moon.
