AI 26

hey guys,

I have an AI 26 led on my 30 gallon bowfront. Is this light providing me sufficient lighting? 90w is only 3 watts per gallon. I was told that I'm not nearly running enough light. Thanks in advance.

Plenty of light. You will probably need to dim a bit to prevent bleaching.

watt to gallon ratio is an old way of doing things. With modern lighting most people use PAR meters to measure if you are getting enough.

Also the amount of light you want depends on what you want to keep.

And just so you know. That AI 26 is plenty for your tank size. I have a 40G cube and keep many sps in it with that same light with 0 issues.
