That's funny. I have a 12-inch glow over my 15g AIO (supplementing a Kessil A80) but no par meter. I've struggled keeping a number of different LPS (especially acans but also trachyphyllia) over the last year but my SPS near the top have been growing like crazy.

I thought there was no way I was giving them TOO much light, as it is just a 20w bar. But I've been running the bar at 90-100% for 12 hours with a 1 hour ramp time on either end. With what you posted... I'm starting to wonder if I was just cooking the LPS this whole time!

I thought about adding the glow but after getting these numbers that would be too much.

dang, never tought these guys would give that much PAR.
Remember the light is on the tank, so the top number is basically @ the face of the LED. Were you to mount at the standard 8” and test again the numbers would be more in line with your expectations.

The only thing is the light bracket included is a on the tank resting bracket.

I have done that exact same thing, cooked my corals from to much light. They use much less than what we think and expect them to use

this is numbers for the mount that rests on the tank? and 12 inches deep?

Sorry went back and read more. So its the 12 inch model, and it is on the tank edge.

Care to estimate how far the top of the tallest rock is from the light? I think im putting a little to much par into my tank with the 30" version.

Don't increase beyond 60%, if anything lower to 40-50%. I have burned a few corals in my day by having to much power! Lower is better, then gradually (slowly) increase. Watch the corals, they will tell you rather quickly
Ive been at 60% for n months, seems to be just right

Not good coral placement way too high at top for the coral you have there. Put SPS there instead. and do research for the rest. Just ME

I would get the elevated stand to get more even spread. But I would run at 60% but maybe 50%

I run mine around 50%
