AI Hydra 26 mounts

I’m mounting two Hydra 26 HDs above my innovative marine fusion 30 gallon long, and have the aluminum HMS mounts. They feel pretty dang heavy with the light mounted in my hand as it is and I’m worried about it being too much. The glass thickness is 8mm, should this be okay?

I used adjustible metal shelving and zip tied them to the metal shelves. Or you can use PVC pipe with t connectors and 90°.
