That's pretty much exactly how I run mine. UV is 20-30%. About 10-11" off the water surface and about 13-14" to my sand bed.

Just curious what is the purpose of the fluctuating intensity up and down

I think it's supposed to simulate clouds passing by or some such thing.

You log in via the webpage and where it has the play icon (to play a fast version of your 24h schedule), there is a little symbol that looks like a greater than (<), click that and upload the *.aip file. Done.

Also, can adjust to your liking and download your schedule, share with others.

I have a few different ones that I have downloaded if anyone would like. Just a mix, give you a idea or even a base to start off, along with my current.

Just shoot me a message and we can work it out. Happy to share. Was looking for these when I first got it, but now I just save a base file, adjust, save as, adjust etc etc...

Thanks for the info guys! I'm going to give this a shot with the UV turned down. All the spectrums and control is nice but I definitely don't know enough to tune it on my own yet.

Anyone know how much coverage I will get with different mounting height? (Above the water).

Mean, if I have it about 10" (approx 23" from the sand bed, 10" open space from surface) will that still cover 24" width?

Trying to stop some light leaking, but keep my width covered.

@Havoks Ran your settings and I have seen a drastic increase in growth. I did mess with the settings though. Quite sloppily I might add. After all, I was drunk.

Searching around the web, I found this...it looks promising. I am trying it now and its a nice amount of light for sure. I am using the top setup.

I am still using the David Saxby setup from http://www.theaquariumsolution.com/light-presets-hd-ai-lighting

However, i switched to the low power one. The other is really strong and my GSP didnt like so much light.
