what exactly is this?

the reds are not slime like thing and i noticed that the white with tentacles is coming out from that red tube like thing.

Looks like a pipe organ coral to me as well.

based on the tentacles i think it's really a pipe organ *SeahorseKeeper ( incidentally i love seahorse. i just bought 2 of them )
and great *Reefing Madness i have a corraline ! now i just have to learn how to make it infect other rocks ;)
thanks to all of you guys !!

It definitely looks like a piece of Pipe Organ Coral which has seen better days. In my experience they generally prefer moderate light with gently flow.

the better one bought earlier :( and considering i seldom find like this i still bought it and hoping someday it will regain its former glory if that's still possible. is it?

Sure it is. That one isn't done yet. The polyps are still trying to come out.

not to give ur hopes up but I had a pipe organ go through this similar stage, it was at first thick and bright green then turned like this then just went away. I hope your pulls through but from the looks of it I would say this one may be gone. keep an update, I would like to know if it does pull through.
