Hello. I found this aiptasia on my Zoa frag. It's about 5 mm in diameter. Is it possible to spread already?

I discarded the frag.

I picked up some Aiptasia on a frag plug.

I began to notice one or two among my Zoas. As I noticed them, I would pull the entire Zoa and the rock it is connected to.

I have all of these pieces in a separate tank for isolation. My plan was to drop in Berghia Nudibranches in to the isolation tank and have them clean up the pieces in isolation.

But I have a chamber in my sump filled with rocks and noticed several in there along with a few attached to my Finnex heater and my SM turf scrubber, so I guess there is no point in isolation.

Can anyone recommend a good source for Berghia Nudibranches?

Also, how do you properly calculate the correct number needed?

Multiply is what they do best.
This is correct. They are masters of exponential growth.

And if you get mad and start cutting them to pieces, they will also divide and multiply! They are evil in the math department of reproduction.

They don't always do well with peppermint shrimp or a copperband butterfly to balance the equation.

Placed heated pads and things to keep the temperature right.

Gey some pepermint shrimp. They will do quick work of them!
Tried the shrimp. Nothing. Trying Berghia for the second time (first time was awesome). Put them in a different tank than the shrimp. Berghia tank is the killing tank. I'm upgrading to a 180, so I'm going to rotate everything in the aptasia filled tank through the killing tank and into my new tank. Have to keep them away from the shrimp. Shrimp will eat the Berghia.

Best I could find was Reeftown. Got 3 or 4 larger ones and then 3 egg spirals. Don't go by whether it says in stock or not. I'd asked if it does say it off stock. Don't put them in with anything that will eat them and drip acclimate them. You will have to be patient. Takes time for them to multiply. Got mine Oct 18 and they are now kicking butt.

True and especially the berghia you were asking about for a supplier. Which there are many just google them. ebay also has them

I'd prefer to purchase from a recommended vendor, rather than rely on Google.
