Air McNair dead...

Man that is terrible.
Lately this has been like a never ending obituary what is going on?

I was never an oilers or titans fan but I admired how tough he was. He'd play through anything.

I followed his career a bit since he was drafted by the Oilers. The image that will undoubtedly linger on will be the longest yard from tying the Rams in the Super Bowl, but he was a true professional throughout his playing days. He and Eddie George held that team together as they transitioned from the Oilers to the Titans, even while playing under a classless owner like Bud Adams.

You never really know what pro athletes are like in their private lives - especially these days - but this news is definitely sad to hear.

Although not a fan of any team he was on I would have taken him on the Vikings any day. He was an old school QB that all young QBs coould admire, one of the toughest QB I have ever had the pleasure to see play live. Prayers to his family and friends.

Been following him since Alcorn State (we were in school at the same time in Miss). Lived in Nashville for seven years, so plenty of exposure there. Hard to believe. Not a good time to be a famous person, it seems...

We must be getting older too.......if we remember all these people from our teens, ect.
