I gotcha I currently run this I am sure both yoy picked will be a better look if you are like me and run things a little bluer. Really like your tank nice stuff!

Blue
Blue
Coral plus
Blue
Led blues only
Blue
Purple
Actinic
Blue

Thanks again. I will definitely be doing something like that except I don't have the LEDs on my Powermodule.

This is the combo I run other than I am using a fiji purple instead of a purple plus. I think the color is perfect.
Awesome. I installed the new bulbs yesterday and I love them. But I actually ditched the Coral+ Running 5 Blue+, 1 Purple+ and 3 Actinics.

Question do you have the Actinics on first? Currently I have it set up like that but I am unsure if I like the dance party cosmic bowling look of just actinics. It is cool and certainly something interestign but it looks a bit insane. Considering running 1 Actinic and one Blue+ first.

That being said once the whole light is on its amazing the actinics help to make some colors pop.

Currently I am running one blue + and one actinic before and after the main lighting period. It looks pretty good, a little brighter than the LED's I was running before. . Just the other day I was thinking of running both actinics instead to see how I like it.

Thanks I think I am going to do this. You can try both actinics, but I think the neon glow is a bit overkill, kinda looks too unrealistic. The actinics in the mix are awesome and do a lot to make corals pop but without a Blue + to cut the edge off its crazy.

Love the tank!

Thanks!!

Different light combo means different colors. Seems like my increased feeding, lower PAR, addition of actinics and overall more Xtra and CV have made an impact.

Here are a handful of shots from this evening.

Lastly the Elusive (Super controversial right now over at R2R) Jawdropper is looking more and more bad *** every day.

I officially accept the challenge to color this guy up as it seems no one out there with a piece has been able to...

Thanks!

Actually I now dose this routine, I come up with the amounts based on tweaking numbers and amounts every couple weeks. Once you hit ULNS it is very easy to tweak based on colors and SPS health. I started by using the Zeo Guide as a base mark, (typically using about half the amount suggested on the bottles) and through water tests, tweaks and coral health ended up with this.

Feeding
  • NLS Pellets daily
  • PE Mysis Rinsed and Soaked in Selcon (Once in a while)
  • Polyp Labs Reef Roids mixed w/Selcon (Once in a while)
Daily
  • 0.175 ml K-Z ZEOStart 2x daily (total of 0.35 ml)
  • 7ml Ca, 3ml Alk, 10 ml Mg (BRS Two Part)
  • 1 ml K-Z Pohls Xtra
  • 2 Drops K-Z Coral Vitalizer
Intermittent
  • 2 Drops of K-Z Sponge Power 3-4x weekly
  • 2 Drops of K-Z ZeoBak 2x weekly (Every other day for two weeks after ZeoLite Exchange)
  • 2 Drops of K-Z Potassium Iodide Flouride 3x weekly
  • 2 ml K-Z Coral Snow 2x weekly (once immediately after water change, once midweek)
  • 2 Drops of K-Z BioMate 2x weekly (w/ Coral Snow)
  • 2 ml K-Balance 4x weekly
  • 2 ml B-Balance 2x weekly
  • 2 Drops Amino Acid High Concentrate 1x weekly
  • 2 Drops Cyano Clean 1x weekly
Maintenance
  • 10% water change weekly (Vacuum sand bed bi-weekly)
  • Change Filter Floss 2x weekly
  • 250 ml of ESV Activated Carbon in media bag changed every 30 days
  • 500 ml K-Z ZeoLite in Vertex Reactor running 60 g/h change 90% every 6-8 weeks
  • Blast Rocks w/ Turkey Baster (Several times weekly)

So I picked up 3 frags today in what should be my last trip to the coral shop for a while. I have shuffled some stuff around to make some room and move some of the mediocre stuff out or to the back....

Reef Raft Canada Shazam - Newish release only seen about one or two out there in peoples tanks.

Reef Raft Canada Ultimate Orange Passion - A new insane version of Orange Passion, its a deeper blue and colorful coral. Same orange passion awesomeness but better.

Reef Raft Canada Pink Cadillac - New Release from Jay.

Pictures to come later.

Here are the new frags, lost a bit of color after the trip home and dip. Should get better over the course of the next week or two.

That orange passion is something else, tank looks like it will be awesome once everything grows out!

It's awesome. I was skeptical wether the U.O.P. would be that much different then the already awesome OG Orange Passion. It is.

Now to watch it all grow.
